Dr. Shaul Freireich, the Deputy Chief Scientist of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor in Israel has replaced Dr. Eli Opper, who was for personal reasons not able to come to Zurich. Dr. Freireich has explained the function and the work of his office. It was impressive to hear how quick and how without too many administrative obstacles it is possible to apply and to eventually succeed to obtain funds to realize concrete projects. Numerous questions showed the interest for the subject and Dr. Freireich concluded that his visit will contribute to better coordination with Swiss related applicants. |
