The Chamber of Commerce Switzerland-Israel takes processing of personal data very seriously. We want you to know when we collect personal data as well as how we process them. We have arranged for technical and organisational measures to make sure that we at the Chamber of Commerce Switzerland-Israel, but also our external cooperation partners, comply with applicable data protection legislation (such as the General Data Protection Regulation).
When you visit our websites
When you visit our websites we do not gain any knowledge about your identity and we do not store any information that can be linked to you. If your organisation already is or becomes a member with us or if you order information material or our newsletter, attend our events such as seminars or use our services, we will process some of your personal data. This involves mostly your name and contact details in order to enable us to provide you with the services that you have requested. You provide your personal data voluntarily but we cannot meet your request if we do not have your personal data. If you have shown interest in us and our services, e.g. by attending one of our events or by requesting information from us, we may even use your personal data in order to promote ourselves towards you and your organisation.
Personal data which is stored as described above is transferred to other data controllers solely if the Chamber of Commerce Switzerland-Israel is obliged by law or court order to hand over the information. The Chamber of Commerce Switzerland-Israel engages different service providers to pursue its business and may transfer personal data to those. Such service providers are e.g. providers of data systems or storage servers. Such service providers process personal data on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce Switzerland-Israel and according to its instructions. Accordingly, the service providers qualify as data processors which process personal data on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce Switzerland-Israel.
Protection of minors
Persons under 18 years of age should not transfer personal data to us without their parents’ or custodian’s consent. We do not collect personal data from children or adolescents. We do not collect such data knowingly and thus, we do not transfer it to third parties.

Our online service contains links to other providers’ websites which other companies and/or persons are liable for. We are not responsible for privacy legislation compliance of other website providers.
